The game is set in a fantasy world completely shrouded in mist. Players take on the role of a hero exploring an unknown map, dispelling the fog of war, and defeating monsters in each region. Players must destroy environmental objects to restore health, defeat specific elite monsters to obtain clearance keys, advance deeper into new areas, and finally defeat the Dark Lord deep within the continent to save the world. The game must feature strong feedback (hit shake, floating damage numbers, particle effects) and use either a doodle-style hand-painted aesthetic or a modern minimalist pixel art style.
