Chess 2.0

1. Choose Easy or Hard, then select Quick Mode or Formal Mode.
2. Pick one of the two opening ability cards. If a card asks for a square, choose a legal highlighted square.
3. Click or tap one of your cyan pieces, then choose a legal destination. Arrow keys move the board cursor; Enter or Space confirms.
4. Capture an orange enemy piece to choose a new ability. Read the card to understand its effect.
5. Finish your move before the timer runs out, or the game will play a move for you.
6. Use Hint when available in Easy mode to reveal a suggested move.
7. Capture the enemy king to win. After the result appears, press Enter or click to return to the menu and start again.

Chess 2.0 turns familiar chess pieces into an unpredictable tactical duel. Start with a randomly generated army, choose an opening ability, and capture enemy pieces to gain more powers. Revive a fallen piece, leave a clone, leap farther, or unleash a devastating chain reaction. Play a compact 10-piece Quick Mode or a full 16-piece Formal Mode against an Easy or Hard computer opponent. Capture the enemy king to win, and keep an eye on the turn timer.
