Grid Claim

Grid Claim is a dice-powered strategy board game where you roll for actions each turn and use them to draw lines between dots on a 5×5 grid. Your goal is to complete squares to claim them and score more points than your opponent—whether that's the CPU or another player.

Controls:

• Mouse click on two dots: Draw a line between them to claim territory
• Toolbar buttons: Use HOME to return to menu, MODE to switch game type, RESTART to begin again, SOUND to toggle audio, and RULES to view instructions
• Die display: Shows how many actions you have available this turn

Gameplay Tips:

• Plan ahead: Each turn you get a random number of actions from the die roll, so think carefully about which lines to draw with your limited moves.
• Complete squares strategically: When you close the fourth side of a square, you claim it and score a point—try to set up multiple squares at once.
• Block your opponent: Draw lines that prevent your opponent from completing their squares, not just to advance your own territory.
• Watch the board state: Pay attention to which areas are nearly complete so you can either finish them or block them before your opponent's turn.
• Difficulty matters: Choose a CPU difficulty that matches your skill level, or play locally against a friend for a more competitive match.
