MariMath Fraction Realm Rescue

MariMath Fraction Realm Rescue is a math adventure for sixth-graders: chaos has broken out in the fraction world, and your job is to restore order by crossing five islands of rising difficulty, solving multiplication problems with fractions and mixed numbers, defeating monsters, and collecting stars along the way. You start at 0 points out of 250, with 15 stars and 25 problems standing between you and a rescued realm.

Controls:

• Click or tap an answer choice: pick the result for the fraction problem on screen.
• Click or tap an island on the map: travel to a difficulty level and start its challenges.
• Click or tap the buttons on the question screen: begin a level, submit your answer, or move on to the next monster.
• Sound button in the top bar: switch music and sound effects on or off at any time.
• Watch the top and bottom bars: they show your score, stars, and overall progress, so you always know how far you have come.

Gameplay Tips:

• To multiply two fractions, multiply the top numbers together and the bottom numbers together: 2/3 × 3/4 gives 6/12.
• Change mixed numbers into improper fractions before multiplying, then convert your result back at the end.
• Always reduce your answer to its simplest form — the realm has a boss who lives on unsimplified fractions.
• Check whether your answer looks reasonable: multiplying by a fraction smaller than one should make the result smaller, not bigger.
• Aim for all 15 stars, and replay an island if you miss one — the higher islands get much tougher.
